I have always been creative and was lucky enough to manage the creative arts during my career as a primary school teacher.  In that role I had responsibility for the school art curriculum, which I loved.

Since retiring three years ago, I have really focused on my own artwork and have attended quite a few courses, both real and virtual.

I work in several areas of the visual arts, but have a particular interest in abstract painting and figurative work, sometimes combining the two.
