Sandra Hazeldon

I have liked to paint and draw for as long as I can remember but don’t have any formal qualifications or training. I took Art as a minor subject when I did my degree and I’ve done a number of leisure classes over the years but mainly my learning / progression has been by a process of trial and error.

I discovered acrylic paint about 10 years ago and since then I’ve used it almost exclusively although I do occasionally work in other media. I like the versatility of acrylic as it can perform like both watercolour and oils.

My subject matter is very varied, I don’t seem to have found a niche or particular style; I just get inspired to paint all manner of subjects and haven’t settled on any one theme or type.
