The aim of each course is to provide a structured and comprehensive grounding in painting and drawing. Using exercise based tutorials that employ the necessary knowledge and help in developing skills. Whether a complete novice or advanced painter, the exercises are tailored to the individual to encourage growth and confidence. Students produce a wide range of work and develop in their own style.
Chris Mcloughin has been featured in many publications such as Lancashire life, Art of England, DiscoverArt Magazine, the Cumberland News and interviewed by BBC radio. He is known for creating dynamic contemporary landscape paintings that capture and express a very unique atmospheric ambience.
His work is highly sought after and is held in many private collections here in the UK and throughout Europe, the USA, Australia and Japan. Chris has also worked with various charities including the Princes Trust and the ABF Soldiers Charity.
